Animals Australia is Australia’s second largest and the most dynamic national animal protection organisation, representing some 40 member societies and thousands of individual supporters.
Animals Australia has an unprecedented track record in investigating and exposing animal cruelty. In the past years our work has resulted in five 60 Minutes segments exposing factory farming and the live export trade and
further segments highlighting animal cruelty on Today Tonight, Four Corners, A Current Affair and Landline. Investigations in the Middle East have resulted in the first ever suspension of the live export trade (to Egypt) and to a benchmark prosecution of a live export company for cruelty.
As well as donations, Animals Australia has a wide range of "2 minute actions"; petitions that can be signed and other steps that can be taken to assist animals in need. You can also sign up to their newsletter to receive up-to-date information about their latest campaigns and read about other simple ways you can help, such as buying cruelty-free products at your local supermarket.
